Client Portals

Client Portals

Branded web portals where end-users can access custom libraries of legal apps and view / edit data pulled from your Workbase.

Before you start building your own Client Portal, take a tour of a portal from the end-user's perspective:

Getting started

Configuration

Your Portal is comprised of Apps and Database Connections. This article will walk you through the process of configuring your Client Portal.

End-user accounts

Learn about the two methods of creating new user accounts (manual and auto sign up), how to create test accounts, and how to edit existing accounts.

Using Portal_client_id

This is the unique ID associated with each Client Portal user. This is a relatively advanced feature that allows you to do such things as ensure that a user only views their own data in the Database Connection.
